This show provides another performance opportunity to groups in the Sacramento region.

We’re also extremely excited to announce that the 2027 NCPA Championships will be held at the University Credit Union Center at UC Davis. This 6,000 seat NCAA Division I basketball arena will provide NCPA a top-tier performance venue. We’re currently working with UC Davis to ensure that this Championship event meets NCPA’s level of excellence and provides the best championship experience for all performers. Many more details to follow.

The WGI Percussion Regional will be returning to James Logan HS for a 2-day event on March 6-7th. We highly encourage all groups to register and participate! Please go to wgi.org for more information.

2026 Champs Update

During the 2026 NCPA Championships, several safety-related incidents occurred outside of the arena. Following the event, it was important that we worked directly with the City of Stockton and the Stockton Police Department to review these incidents and ensure they were appropriately addressed.

The Stockton Police Department responded to reported incidents within minutes and took immediate action. As a result of those efforts, at least one arrest was made in connection with criminal activity. Additionally, the encampments located near the equipment vehicle parking areas have since been removed.

The City of Stockton and the Stockton Police Department remain committed to partnering with NCPA to provide the safest possible environment for our participants, staff, volunteers, and spectators. Should NCPA return to Stockton in the future, we will continue working closely with City officials and law enforcement to further strengthen safety measures for everyone attending the event.

NCPA Trailer Refresh

We want to extend a huge thank you to Dave Gomez, JW Koester, Jared Nunn, William Nunn and Donovan Rumpler for facilitating and building out the interior of the NCPA trailer. This will make a huge difference in how we manage show day operations.

We’ll continue to provide exciting updates for our 2027 season. We hope to see you soon, and best of skill in the upcoming fall season!

Sincerely,
NCPA
