***NEW*** The following changes for registration have been added to the 2026 Participant Handbook. Please make sure you review all changes to the 2026 Participant Handbook prior to registering for events.

  • Any ensemble registered as a Regional A group that is registered for NCPA Championships must attend one of the first three shows of the season for proper classification evaluation. If the group is located more than 100 miles away from the location of Show #1-3, then the group must submit a video of their most recent performance or run-through to info@nc-pa.org by the Monday after Show #3.

  • Show registration fees must be paid within four weeks of registration, or by a show’s registration deadline (3 weeks prior to the event), whichever occurs first.

  • If four weeks pass without payment, a “delinquent” status will be applied to the group, and the timestamp (used to determine show performance order) associated with their registration will be removed.

  • If a payment is made after the payment deadline and prior to the show registration deadline, the group will return to good standing, and will be given a new registration timestamp equivalent to the payment date. If the show is currently full, this will result in the group being placed on the waitlist.

  • If payment is not made by a show’s registration deadline, the group will be removed from the show.

  • Any group may withdraw from a regular season event without penalty up to January 1st, and receive full reimbursement of registration fees.

  • Any group may withdraw from Championships without penalty up to February 1st, and receive full reimbursement of registration fees, and any associated Championships Add-Ons purchased.

  • Groups that withdraw after the deadline will not be refunded. Forfeited funds cannot be applied to future events or Add-Ons.

  • All withdrawals must be submitted via the NCPA Event Withdrawal Form by a Group Administrator.

Participating Ensemble Master Agreement - Link

Each NCPA ensemble is required to have a Participating Ensemble Master Agreement on file prior to the start of the season. This agreement is designed to be a single, comprehensive document that covers items such as participant protection and safety, publicity rights, and liability. Please familiarize yourself with all the details of this agreement, including the requirement to review and share the 2026 NCPA Participant Handbook with everyone associated with your ensemble, including instructional staff and parents.
