Summer 2025 Update

We hope you're all soaking up the sunshine and having a great summer! We're thrilled to share some exciting updates with our community about what's ahead in 2026. This includes a sneak peek at our show schedule, details on our annual Summit meeting, and the results from our Board of Directors elections.


NCPA is excited to announce the 2026 schedule of events!

  • Show #1 February 7th - Fremont HS, Sunnyvale

  • Show #2 February 14th, Dublin HS, Dublin

  • Show #3 February 21st - West Park HS, Roseville

  • Show #4 March 7th - American Canyon HS, American Canyon

  • Show #5 March 28th - James Logan HS, Union City

  • Championships - Adventist Health Arena, Stockton

That’s right! We’re adding another show to our schedule! We’re excited to be back in Dublin HS and hope you’re able to join us!

Planning for 2026 NCPA Championships has been ongoing since the end of last season. We are currently waiting for the Stockton Ports baseball schedule to release before finalizing the date for Championships. We are currently deciding between April 4th and April 11th. We expect to make an announcement on the final date in early September.

Registration for the 2026 season will start on Wednesday, October 8th at 12:00PM.

WGI Percussion Regionals is returning to Northern California! James Logan HS will be hosting the WGI Percussion Regional on March 14th-15th. Please go to wgi.org for more information.

Our annual NCPA Summit for ensemble directors and instructors will be held on August 17, 11am-1pm in the Amador Valley HS Band Room. We’ll have a 2025 season debrief and kick-off the 2026 season. For more information and to register for the Summit, please go to our website. Every ensemble in attendance receives a 2026 All-Access Circuit Advisor Badge!

On July 8th, the Board of Directors held our board elections. We’re excited to announce a new face on the board as well as several people in new roles.

Technology Operations Director - Mike Reppucci

A big welcome to Mike Reppucci, who is joining our board as the new Technology Operations Director! We're so grateful Mike is volunteering for this key role, and we know his contributions will be a fantastic addition for our community.

Casey will be stepping away from the role of President and transitioning into the position of Vice President & Marketing and Branding Director for NCPA. Casey has been instrumental in guiding us through the challenges of the pandemic and skillfully navigating critical arena negotiations and raising the bar for our events. While Casey’s leadership has been invaluable, he is thrilled to embrace a lighter role, allowing him to dedicate more time to his family. We thank Casey for his unwavering commitment and look forward to his continued contributions.

As our community continues to grow at an astronomical rate, NCPA is always looking for people to join the Board of Directors or help out in other ways.
